Taylor I did not get out to Tombstone, but I did geocache in Arizona, in the Sedona area. It was very cool. The views there are absilutely gorgeous, and since it's warm in winter it's much easier to geocache year-round. Not to say that you can't go geocaching in the winter, but the snow certainly makes it harder. I enjoyed Sedona because there were so many options when it came to the terrain. There are easy "cache-and-dash"es for beginners and harder ones that involve using a rope to get to the top of a cliff face in order to find a particular cache. One of the things I discovered in Sedona is that you should walk "just a little bit farther" to see if there's an easier way up a rock. There often is. My group discovered that there was a pretty easy walking path after trying to go up one of the more difficult sides of Bell Rock. Good luck with your article and I hope this helped. :)

Dear Jen,
My name is Taylor Reed, i am a journalism student at the University of Arizona and a writer for the Tombstone Epitaph. I am writing you because you mentioned trying to do some geocaching in Arizona and i am writing a story about geocaching in Tombstone. I am wondering if you ever made it out to Az, and if so did you do any geocaching in Tomstone? I would love to hear if you did and whether you liked the experience in Tombstone or not and if you found anything?
Thank you for your time and i would love to hear back from you, my email is: x-ed out for privacy
Sincerely,
Taylor Reed

Interesting theory David. I have not had a chance to read the entire site, so I haven't decided what I think yet. At any rate, in the interest of being fair to both sides I am putting this out there for the reader to make his or her own decision.
